The journey yesterday seemed to take forever. Our flatmate, Tiago, gave us a lift to the airport, but we went really early because of potential delays for extra security. Everything at the airport went smoothly, though we had 5 hours in the departure lounge because the plane was late. I was concerned that the car hire place at Prague airport would have closed, but we were okay… they’d kept it open after hours for us – for a fee. At least we weren’t going to be stuck in Prague for the night.

and people in the city prefer the countryside.
Doufam, ze koupit starou oranjovy skoda, a mozne je dobry v krajina.
I hope to buy an old orange skoda, and maybe it’ll be okay in the countryside.
Praha jenom 80 km, a Tabor je 10km. Ale je dlouha na kolo! A je tezky po starobni.
Prague is only 80 km away and Tabor is 10 km. But it’s far on a bicycle. But it’s difficult for old people.
